Hair Cut

Jack really enjoys going to Pigtails & Crewcuts for his grooming needs.

The hairdryer was fun and very windy!!!

I don't usually spike his hair but couldn't pass it up after such a great job!

Park Fun with Grandma

Jack loves to swing on the big boy swings!

Jack has fun going down the slide...this one was pretty fast.

Lazy Boy

Jack had a big exciting morning and fell asleep in his favorite chair. He loves his fish glasses.

Nanna, Grandpa, Jack and I went out on the boat in Tillamook Bay.

Jack loves to drive.

Oregon Gymnastics Academy

Cousin Zoë stayed the night with us and I took the kids to open gym at OGA. It was a huge success.

Jack loves the balance beam but found it quicker to scale with his hands on the beam and feet on the floor.

Zoë is a blur as she zooms down the 60-80 foot trampoline.

Mr. Conductor

Jack loves trains and enjoys wearing his conductor hat and blowing his train whistle:)

Needless to say, there aren't many photos with all of us in them. This was taken in Cabo while we were whale watching. We befriended a young couple from Texas who were pretty excited that Jake's voice carried loudly for requesting more margaritas!

Baja Mexico from a distance. We had to make a medical emergency stop in Cabo on the way back from Puerto Vallarta.

Sadly, the ship was really moving quickly as we headed back to LALA land:(

Puerto Vallarta

We spent our day in Puerto Vallarta at the beach. Jack loved digging for treasures and filling up his bucket with just about everything he could find.

Jake and Jack (and I) are all water lovers and enjoyed the surf for several hours.

We found this amazing restaurant across from the beach and enjoyed dinner while people watching. In the background there are a group of young men playing a popular game similiar to hacky sack. If someone dropped the sack everyone would take turns throwing wet sand at the offender. Sounds like fun!!!

Who would've thought that a cheap pinwheel could bring such delight and entertainment. It's so amazing to see life through the life of a child.
We brought our BOB Revolution jogging stroller (which turned out to be a LIFESAVER), however, everyone assumed that Jack's name was Bob because it is embroidered. It was hysterical! Sorry to any Bob reading this.

Evenings

The sunsets were amazing every day.

The moon appeared to be so close you could see the craters.

Jack's schedule went out the window as soon as we embarked. He tried so hard to stay up as late as possible every day. We were laughing as quietly as possible. Every time we thought he was asleep we would see a sliver of a peeper.

He would eventually lose the battle and slumber off to snore land.

Departing Mazatlan

As the sun approached the horizon it was time for our escort out of the port of Mazatlan.

Our ship was assisted and escorted by a tug since the port was relatively small for ships this size.

Jack was elated to have seen his first real tug in action.

Today was a glorious day and it was kind of sad to leave:(

Mazatlan

In Mazatlan the most impressive site was were the cliff divers risk their lives for a couple of dollars. We saw several people perform for all of the tourists and my heart stopped every time they entered the water.

We went to the zoo and spent a fair amount of time in the aquarium:)

We hired a private driver for an up close tour of the city and he had the coolest ride ever!!! It was an open air taxi that resembles a VW Thing called a pulmonia. This was the highlight of Jack's entire trip:) Mine, too.
